Americans are fast becoming fed up with an election system that, until 20 minutes ago, worked well and was trusted before Democrats began intentionally disrupting it so they can eventually replace it with something that ensures they will be in power perpetually.
In addition to using the COVID pandemic to force through near-universal mail-in balloting, which was unprecedented before the 2020 election, the far-left social media platforms have also been blamed for skewing search results and either downgrading or censoring competing conservative ideals, policies, and information.
And on that front, new Twitter boss Elon Musk made a statement late last month.
Musk was responding to a user who commented on a Washington Post story regarding Twitter’s Trust & Safety team when he claimed the platform, under the old management team, interfered in elections.
“Twitter has shown itself to be not safe for the past 10 years and has lost users’ trust. The past team of ‘trust and safety’ is a disgrace, so it doesn’t have any right to judge what is being done now. They had a chance, but they sold their souls to a corporation,” a Twitter user remarked in a tweet containing a link to the Post story.
Musk replied: “Exactly. The obvious reality, as long-time users know, is that Twitter has failed in trust & safety for a very long time and has interfered in elections. Twitter 2.0 will be far more effective, transparent and even-handed.”

Earlier in the week, Outkick host and Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren asked Musk to release internal Twitter documents that detail how past accounts and users were silenced or downgraded on the platform.
“The best thing @elonmusk could do for our country and our first amendment is to EXPOSE the algorithms that have silenced us for years,” she noted on Twitter ahead of a “Fox & Friends” appearance on Tuesday.
“I think it is quite obvious if people know the truth and have access to free speech public platform, they might change the way they vote, and the left is terrified of this,” she told the morning show.
“Think for a moment, those on the left are saying free speech is threatened by free speech, which makes no sense whatsoever. To Elon Musk, I would say, release the free speech file, expose the algorithms,” Lahren continued.
“We don’t want an apology, we want acknowledgment and we want to know these spirits were valid and real and we deserve that. The American people deserve that and we should want that and know what algorithms were in place that could have changed a series of elections and I hope Elon exposes it all,” she said.
“The problem is for the left, when the truth comes in the door, the bs has to go out the window,” noted the Fox News contributor.
“I have to hand it to Elon Musk, he is bizarre, he is a genius, the amount of heat he has taken and his businesses because of his decision of Twitter, he is taking incoming fire and he is doing it with grace and doing it for us. We applaud him and thank him,” she said.

For his part, Musk has made no bones about it: He sees how the left has turned on the platform after he took it over and vowed to end their dominance of what has become one of the biggest social media platforms on the planet.
“This is a battle for the future of civilization. If free speech is lost even in America, tyranny is all that lies ahead,” he tweeted earlier in the week.
