Taking its anti-free speech agenda to a whole new level, the social media sharing site Pinterest is reportedly now blocking all pins about vaccines and vaccination that contain any information whatsoever in contradiction of the official government narrative that all vaccines are absolutely safe and always effective.
After earlier blocking all content specifically from GreenMedInfo, a well-known treasure trove of scientific information pertaining to natural health and living, Pinterest is now spreading its censorship reach and going after all independent sources, including the ever-popular Health Impact News website, that share “unapproved” information about vaccines.
Upon discovering recently that some of its pins were no longer being displayed on the site’s Pinterest account, Health Impact News contacted Pinterest directly for an explanation. Health Impact News later received a response from someone at Pinterest named “Tina,” who offered the following statement, with no further indication as to which pins were censored:
“One or more of your Pins about vaccines has been highlighted as containing medical misinformation. Per our policy, this content will remain available to you, but it will be hidden from circulation on Pinterest as it contains claims that are considered to be misleading or inaccurate by the medical community.”

This digital “pin-burning” by Pinterest comes roughly a year after the pro-vaccine publishing group Elsevier published a commentary in the journal Vaccine about the “problem” of vaccine free speech.
Entitled, “On pins and needles: How vaccines are portrayed on Pinterest,” the authors of this opinion piece lamented the fact that the vast majority of the 800 pins about vaccines that they identified on Pinterest as part of their sample set – roughly 75 percent – contained some type of criticism about vaccines or official vaccine policy.
It would appear as though, following the paper’s publishing, these same individuals contacted Pinterest and pressured the company to remove or somehow censor these pins – which is exactly what ended up happening.
“When organizations share anti-vaccine messages, the risk is that parents choose not to vaccinate their children out of fear,” the paper complained.
“This lowers the overall vaccination rate and puts vulnerable people at risk of disease,” it added, contending further that, “[t[here’s a pressing need to improve vaccination rates globally.”
Even as fake news giant CNN, California Democrat Adam Schiff, and others pressure Amazon to engage in a digital “book-burning” of anti-vaccine content, Pinterest is going after not only GreenMedInfo and Health Impact News, but also a slew of doctors and scientists who similarly question the safety and effectiveness of vaccines.
These members of the medical community who don’t march in lockstep with official vaccine dogma are having to bear the brunt of mass censorship on Pinterest as well, despite holding the same credentials as those who accept vaccine dogma, hook, line, and sinker.
“The fact is that the ‘medical community’ is not at all unified on their views of vaccines, as increasingly more doctors and medical professionals are beginning to question the Big Pharma and Government extremist position on vaccines,” writes Brian Shilhavy for GreenMedInfo.
“As we have reported in the past many times, medical professionals and scientists are seldom 100% anti-vaccine, or 100% pro-vaccine, but somewhere in the middle. Pinterest is, therefore, taking a position of censoring more than 75% of the content posted by its users (which would obviously include medical doctors, and scientists) on the vaccine debate, choosing to accept only the extremist pro-vaccine position.”
